Commerce/Business rules are not very common in North America, but were widely used in Europe. It is set up to do Mark-up/Discount, simple and compound interest, currency and common unit conversions and all the normal math functions, plus log log scales on the slide reverse. Versatile wood body rule with 6 line 3-sided cursor, accessory ruler/data strip, and a 27cm ruler along the top edge. The body back has constants and formulas is German. The rule is self documenting on right hand side for all scales. A very good quality rule with black red and green scale markings. Includes scale marks for dozen (12) and gross (144). FC Classic Sets, MORE Just Arrived! 12"/10" Full Size System Darmstadt Mannheim Slide Rule. Faber's advanced Mannheim rule, widely used in Europe, and a real classic. Includes a reprint of the hard to find factory English manual and clear/green compact display case! This rule has a visible wood core, with white celluloid faces, black and red filled and engraved scales, plus 2 side cursors and scale sets. This is a very unusual design, with a complex 3-sided, 7 line cursor, and is the final (late) version of this rule. Has the Rietz over-range scale extensions, plus the Pythagorean scale (P), side log scale on top, and side sine and tangent scales at the bottom. Slide reverse has 3 log log scales (ex). Scales are self documenting on the right side. Celluloid 3 line cursor. This rule has has a blank back, with 2 rear cursor windows for the 3 log log scales on the slide reverse, and bevelled side cm ruler. Enjoyable to use, and lovely to look at, every surface has been used to do something useful. Older models had formulas and factors on the back, this late rule has a complete accessory ruler included (cm and inch) with the factor data on it. Pic is one of the actual rules offered.  Click for bigger PIC!  Click for bigger PIC! BRAND NEW, MINT condition boxed 2/83N Novo-Biplex factory leather cased rule sets with factory Spanish manuals and accessory rulers. These sets include the rule, Green OR Brown case, accessory ruler and Spanish (factory) and English (reprint) language manuals. These sets have been in storage in South America for 50 years and look virtually untouched (better than the pics can easily show), with brilliant metalwork and end braces. You will be very pleased with these, they are top condition by any standard, and we have opened and inspected every set. All the cardboard boxes show some light foxing and spots from 50 years of storage, but the sets inside are wonderful. I really like this rule, and these sets are exceptional, a wonderful gift for you or that rule fanatic you know, or for your kids as a real keepsake treasure. The case has a front FC logo, and stores the manual, and accessory ruler inside, but our investigation shows that the ruler can out-gas and affect the slide rule scales (bleeding), so it is better if not packed inside. This rule is variously marked Novo-Biplex (mainly for sale outside Germany), and Novo-Duplex in Germany, these sets all say Novo-Biplex. Everything has been inspected, cleaned and polished, for the best possible appearance. We paid a very high price to get and air-ship these sets, so they are expensive, but you will not find them in better condition anywhere.  14"/10" Novo-Biplex Log Log Slide RuleOne of the nicest plastic body rules ever made, with gold anodized adjustable aluminum end braces, duplex 5/4-line cursor, two color (red/black) scale markings, and trademark mint green stripe on primary scales (both sides), plus additional blue stripes on the A and B scales, and massive 2 1/4" wide body. This rule also has expanded W square root scales, for both the square root of x and 10x, 8 log log scales, and raised rubber bumpers to prevent cursor scraping, and to give the rule grip on a desktop. The rule also has finger-grip areas on the slide for better movement. Body is fully alignable at the aluminum end-pieces. The cursor pops off (note the recess on the side bars) for easy cleaning, while retaining its alignment, a very handy feature! Rule is self documenting on right hand side for all scales. Has Pythagorean scale (P), expanded square scales, folded scales and scale over-ranges. These late sets were from a distributor's warehouse in South America. K+E 68-1215 Set with 68-1210 Duplex Decitrig Rule  CLICK for bigger PIC 10" Duplex Decitrig Slide Rule is one of K+E's premiere duplex rules with engraved scales, in the final wood body format. It also has inlaid wood edges with model information and the improved unbreakable cursor. This is another confusing K+E catalog numbering issue, the 68-1215 meant the 68-1210 rule in the orange leather case, but the rule itself is unchanged at 68-1210, and is really the re-named 4081-3 Log Log Duplex Decitrig rule. Uncommon Full Sized Logarex Rules Just Arrived from Europe!
 10" Logarex/Koh-I-Noor Darmstadt Slide Rule VERY LATE MODEL, made in Czechoslovakia. Powerful, brand new full sized rule with front and back cm/inch edge rulers, smooth black scales, 3 log log scales on the slide reverse, pythagorean and trig scales, and 4 line cursor, and dual reverse side body cursors. Unusually marked, this rule contains ONLY scale equivalents, no arbitrary letters. Has a soft black padded leatherette case with top flap, and the name of the UK distributor for Logarex (Hellerman) embossed on one side. A very powerful and well-designed rule, but uncommon in North America. Like Pickett rules, this is lithographically made, not engraved, and has a shiny top coating for protection of the printed scales. A very nice desk rule to use for many purposes, thanks to the dual rulers. 12"/10" 544 A Simplex Slide Rule BACK IN STOCK! BRAND NEW, NIB, A visually beautiful rule, complete with 2 part plastic case and factory box. The 544A features the trademark S/M blue slide and body braces, multi-line (5 line) cursor, plus two color (red/black) scale markings, and folded scales. The rule is self documenting on the right hand side for all scales. Staedtler-Mars rules are highly requested but quite uncommon in North America, and are very well made designs. Attractive blue slide and body braces, complement the bright blue and white two part plastic case. The folded scales are especially useful for mark-up/discount calculations, and a center index is well marked for this. The 'invisible brace' style with braces on the back gives the rule a very clean European look from the front. Blank on the reverse side. We have included reprints of the S/M consolidated rule instructions because these came factory packed with no instructions. 14/11" Multimath Duplex Slide Rule Nestler's powerhouse late production over-sized duplex rule. BRAND NEW rule, with 2 part plastic case, manual, accessory ruler and factory box. Has normal and folded basic scales (at 2.7), expanded trig scales, split square root scales, Pythagorean scale, 8 log log scales, and a 4/2 line cursor. Has body supports with skid bumpers (to allow flat operation without damaging the cursor), and a pale green stripe on the entire slide (both sides), and black filled/ engraved scales with red digits on some scales. An excellent full sized Log Log rule, the top of the line from Nestler. All scales are self documenting on the right hand side. CLICK HERE to visit the POST Archive 10" NIB Versatrig Slide Rule Set Beautiful full sized duplex trig bamboo rule with framed glass cursor and embossed black fiber case (has built-in belt hanger) in factory box with english manual. The rule is still sealed in the factory plastic bag. Excellent condition set, with a bit of box wear! Please note, the box is VERY fragile and thin. Has folded CF and CIF scales, split square root (R) scales, plus DI and 3 dual trig scales. A very attractive and hard to find rule, this set is made a bit more interesting by virtue of the fact it was a TRANSITIONAL set, boxed as Teledyne, but with all the contents marked as POST. As with all bamboo body rules from Post or Teledyne Post, they are actually made by Hemmi in Japan.
