Nominal Length in Inches (Most 10-inch slide rules have scales that are actually 250 mm long--slightly shorter than 10 inches.) | What the rule is made of, such as wood, plastic, unobtanium, etc. | Scales on Front For mannheim rules only, this also includes any measuring scale on top edge set off with // or ||.
