These are the various Displays and Display Parts we have on hand from Burroughs, National (Wang), Raytheon, NEC, Amperex, Philips, Numitrons from RCA, and even Panaplex neon displays from Beckman/Sperry. To save you some frantic email, YES! we DO have sockets in stock at this time, but keep in mind many of these are solderable types if you are experimenting or making clocks, and of course, for repairs and retrofits, the socket is already there. We have some new (NOS) and some tested pulls  available. All Nixies have good or excellent element visibility, and none have blackened fronts. We are very picky about what we buy and sell, you can be sure these are worth having.Lots of new NIXIE data just added for your reference. Please note that over-current makes the tubes blacken, and seriously shortens tube life, limit average current to 2.5-3mA for most tubes. NAVIGATION: To make your life easier, and help you find exactly what you want, we have broken the on-line equipment catalogs into smaller sections. Just CLICK on the item you are looking for at the left, to see the matching catalog. Large graphical catalogs are a bit SLOW, so please give them a bit of time to load.  CONDITION: To answer your questions, YES, we completely inspect all new surplus and used parts, and do not offer any we feel are substandard. Those are normally scrapped or may get offered as-is in the HOT DEALS section, or here in a bulk lot with the condition clearly identified. If there are any marks or detracting features, we clearly state them in the listing.

 E1T / 6370 |
Valvo E1T / 6370 miniature CRT beam counting tube One of many technologies that predates Nixies, these tiny CRT-like decade counter tubes toggle the position of a brightly lit blue/green rectangle from one digit to the next with a serial pulse input. They were used in some early lab counters, and are visually very attractive when lit. As I recall, their top speed is about 10Khz.They are very old stock, dated 1970, so they are strictly as-is, no returns. All look good, getters intact, but after 37 years, I am just not so sure they still work correctly, even though they came to us as good used tubes, still operational, but we cannot test these here. They use a 12 pin B12E Duodecal socket, we have a couple left.
Full factory data sheet HERE in PDF format, includes full operating circuits! The tubes are marked E1T, the E1T number is the one most people are familiar with, 6370 is the industrial number. I do not see any easy way these can be used in a clock, as they have no intermediate pulse take off, only a full decade carry output. Still pretty cool. EEV LCD Avionics DisplayEEV Fascinating display sub-assemblies, with 4 Alpha characters, and 4 Numeric (with polarity) characters in 2 display windows. These high contrast large character displays have heaters for low temp operation, and backlighting, which appears to be an EL panel, although marked +/- on the board; it goes directly to the mating connector. Factory NEW (old stock), Fully Tested Miniature 7-segment numeric displays with RH decimal point, popular avionics display device. These have a 13 pin ceramic/epoxy DIP package, 0.472 inch digit, with a flat glass lens. Every one has been individually tested, and is guaranteed good! We rarely see these, and new ones are almost unheard of. These are rated for 100,000 hours at 5VDC, with 4500fL brightness (15mA/segment). We get endless inquiries for this style displays but rarely see any now. We have 12 dual marked FDB-5V15 and FFD-11C, and 6 marked only FFD-11C. All work the same, the dual marked parts have a speckled seal around the front display glass, the single marked parts have a smooth dark gray seal. Neon Filled 10 Dot Register Displays ETELCO New, boxed Ericsson Telephones Limited GR10A late generation register/indicator displays with keyed 12 pin (duodecal) bases, made in the UK. Like a Pixie tube, an illuminated neon dot illuminates in a circle to display the count, each dot is adressable directly, not counted and shifted as in a Dekatron, these use an external counter/decoder.
